The latest trend at the Bollywood Red Carpet: Designer Salwar Suits

The Bollywood Red Carpet has always been a platform for the leading actors to flaunt their unique style and look. This year however seem to be more refreshing than the past ones in terms of dressing. Long, body hugging gowns have been replaced by traditional yet fashionable Indian ethnic wear. Almost all leading ladies from the Indian cinema were seen in Indian wear on all major award functions, certainly with a twist. Be it a designer salwar suit or a crop top teamed with a sweeping skirt, all of them were trying to put across their culture which is a good thing for all of us. The whole story indicates that the Indian salwar suits and other ethnic wear are evolving for the good. The classic sari was also seen in experimental mode this season. Many leading faces of the Indian cinema wore it in a more fashionable way. They experimented a lot and this really gives a boost to this traditional wear making it more fashionable and elegant than ever before. Now, women can better experiment with these ethnic wear to make them a rage among the fashion circuits. Anarkali salwar suits in different forms and colors were the major attraction of all award functions. Almost every second Bollywood celebrity was seen dressed in a stylish Anarkali suit with a different flow or cut.
